Ubisoft is all set to release its upcoming thirteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, on October 5, 2023.
This action-adventure stealth game is the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Mirage is mainly set in 9th-century Baghdad during the anarchy at Samarra and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The game shows Basim’s transition from a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions seeking answers and justice to a fully-fledged member of the Assassin Brotherhood, who fights for peace and liberty against the Templar Order and who desires peace through control.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available for pre-order for PC at $49.99 via the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store, as well as for PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Amazon Luna with an anticipated release on Apple iOS in early 2024.
Further, pre-orders include access to a bonus quest called “The Forty Thieves.” In addition, the game can be played on Ubisoft’s gaming subscription service, Ubisoft+, on day one of the release.
