In order to strengthen new markets and new areas, these both companies, of course, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi and the tech giant Microsoft have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and hardware.
The world of technology is always growing and it is difficult for a company to keep up with all areas. In order to facilitate this process, it is common to have partnerships to exchange knowledge, experiences and resources in various areas.
One such example is the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi’s partnership with the tech giant Microsoft that was established a few years ago and has evolved over time. If they initially agreed to bring Windows 10 Mobile to the Xiaomi Mi4, it quickly expanded to other areas and allowed the tech giant Microsoft to introduce their software to Chinese-branded devices.
In order to intensify sharing and joint development, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi and the tech giant Microsoft signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in other areas as well.
Xiaomi and Microsoft sign agreement to cover new business areas
In this agreement, both technological giants agreed to share knowledge and resources within the areas of Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and hardware as we told earlier.
With this partnership, the tech giant Microsoft expects the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi to use its cloud computing products, such as Azure, to develop new smartphones, computers or other smart devices. In contrast, the US brand intends to use this approach to boost its access to the Chinese market.
In addition, both brands are also in talks to introduce Cortana to the Mi AI Speaker, to share developments in the conversation of artificial intelligence and to enhance the use of Bing, Edge and Skype.
With this agreement, both brands will cooperate to develop better products and share knowledge.
